Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
Chaos giggles at the sight of Sin turning against his master. "What? Can't your sword turn around?" Upon finishing his question, he uses transforms his sword into a scythe. "Rather appropriate for a angel of my title, no?" Spins, using his scythe to create an energy wave heading towards Gale.
|
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
Gale seems distant from Chaos. A wide grin fills his face. He point Sin at the approaching energy wave as well as Chaos. "Santo Nero." Another twisted version of Holy is fired. It skims the wave and sucks it into itself, acting something like a black hole to other forms of energy. "This is my version of holy. I developed it to counter Ayn, but it should work quite effeciently on Angels such as yourself."
|
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
At the end of the wall, One sees a flash of light. Excited, he crawls over and from the top of the shelf, he looks down at the two. He decides to watch for a few seconds, unnoticed.
|
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
"Umph." He shows a quite annoyed look in his face. "All you are doing is delaying the inevitable." The sword in his hand glows as it reaches a wider size.
|
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
"Do you mean my death? I if so, I think everyone does." Gale laughs for a moment before leaping high into the air.
|
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
One sits and watches intently. Should he help? Nah. . Gale is capable of handling this. . But he does look tired. . One looked over at his opponent whom he recognized as Chaos. An old companion, if he could even be considered a companion. One decides to just sit there until Gale is in real trouble. "Always getting into fights. . . " One said this without thinking and realized that he said it a little too loud. He tried to hide from view.
|
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
The scythe molds itself into a Boomerang. Upon the completetion of the change, it is thrown towards Gale.
|
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
Gale didn't expect the boomerang. He was smack relatively hard by it and he fell down again. He managed to turn Sin into a gun and fires rapidlly at Chaos.
|
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
After the boomerang had hit Gale, it flew back to Chaos's hand. "Guns? You were never one for anything but guns and swords..." Backflips to the right, zigzaging behind a bookshelf. After taking a moment's rest, he slices open the bookshelf, throwing a bomb of energy in the direction of Gale.
|
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
Sin turns into a sword again and he swings it like a bat, sending the bomb back at Chaos. "I sense..someone familliar. At Tri-Links. I'll kill you before I investigate."
|
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
"Will you?" The bomb explodes, but it does nothing to Chaos other than tearing sections of his clothing, as it was Holy energy.
|
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
"Well I have no intention of dying, but it's foolish for me to think you wouldn't ensure that you survive this. But do you not sense it?" Sin begins to glow once more.
|
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
"Of course. It is one close to Ayn…
... It seems that I must suspend our battle to ensure that Ayn's death is not complicated even further." |
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
"Did you not wish her to die as well?"
|
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
"I do. I simply cannot allow the chance for it be stalled even further."
|
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
"Hmph. I'm suprised you got involved. I would of killed Ayn and thus everyone else, incluiding myself, but you're decieding to do work yourself. Getting impatient?"
|
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
"Life does not wait, as long as it may seem."
|
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
"Hmph. I'm going to the Cafe. I suggest you wait and let things play out, I'll finish what we started here."
((I hate this keyboard, it keeps messing up. Like right now. -_-)) |
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
Rikali wanders the hallways of the castle, moving quickly and with purpose. Sensing the prescence of others here, she moves silently, towards the library.
"You better have what I want, Gale Onarav..." |
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
As the strange pair of 'heroes' look down the log, straight corridor Bhaal looks around to see where the faint sound had come from until his eyes eventually come onto the end of the crossbow bolt lodged in his armour and pulls it out looking at it.
Well I guess that they don't trust them then. Well I guess we should get moving then. Looking at the foor and seeing no more of the likely hidden traps Bhaal gives up and reaching into his pack Bhaal pulls out his helmet and straps it to his head. Well this should be fun. Walking at first with nothing more coming Bhaal picks up his speed and runs down the corridor setting of traps on his way as crossbow bolts fire from the walls, blades spin from the ceiling and spikes come from the floor. After a short distance down the corridor Bhaal stops looking back to see all the blades as they continue to swing and then at himself seeing dozens of bolts caught in his armour with a couple drawing blood. Well I guess that bit should be safe now. I've probably set everything off. Strange this is. It does't look like I'm any closer to the end of this hal then I was before. |
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
One stays up there still soaking in the last fight. But he figures he better head to Tri-Link's Cafe to see what's going on. He jumps down from the top of the shelf and walks outside. He suddenly runs into Rikali. "What the. . ? What are you doing here?" He doesn't know the person in front of him but he doesn't have time to introduce himself. He was also startled to find her roaming around in Gale's castle, apparently without him knowing it.

Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
Hayate casually walks though the intracate maze of whirring blades and various weapons, just walking easily between them. That's because it's one of those corridors... Tell you what. I'll go back this way, you go that way. Stop half way. Then look around you. If you can see me at both ends, it's one if those corridors. |
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
Well I guess it could help clear it up at least. Those corridors though can be quite entertaining at times at least anyway.
As Bhaal walks further down the corridor dodgin the occasional blade with a few bolts bouncing off his armour Bhaal stops a way further down the corridor. Looking back the way he had came he could see Hayate looking around and the looking ahead of him he saw Hayate again and beyond Hayate was another Bhaal looking in the opposite direction too. |
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
You're a good sport, I'll give you that.
Hayate laughs and a ball of crackling dark energy appears in his hand. It elongates, and he holds it like a staff, electrical discharges ripping down it's length. While it's true that I'm not the most religious type, it never hurts to use some one else's belifs for your own ends... Slamming the staff on the floor, symbols that Bhaal recognises, even at his distance, of several gods crackle into existence by Hayate's feet and glow faintly, weak power this far from home Now, show me the way. A bolt of energy shoots from the 'staff' and forms into a rough outline of a door. Working quickly, he dispells the runes, leaving just enough time for him to get through the door before it collapses. See you around, cowboy. |
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
After an confrontation with a mysterious voice in the cafe, Chaos arrives at a valley nearby the castle. "It would seem that I am here now, no? Now would be the prime time to reveal yourself, stranger."
|
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
The voice returns from behind Chaos, but unlike before, this voice is real and not mental. "As I have promised, I shall tell you of what I spoke. But first, we must fully understand what my purpose is, Angel of Death. I am sure you are aware of the celestial war the is waged by the one men call God, and the one men call the Devil?"
|
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
"Quite obviously. Angels against Demons, "Good versus Evil,” and Heaven warring Hell. With the occasional third party, of course."
|
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
"Quite right. The most simple way of putting it is good versus evil. No matter what "party" you align to, you fall into one of the two catagories. Now, my concern is not for any side to defeat the other. All I must do, is keep the balance between good and evil until this celestial war ends. Once it does, one will stand as the ultimate ruler of this universe and decied that fate of it. This is well known to one such as you. What I must do to make sure the balance is kept until this time is over insight to what could and couldn't happen. Anyone could use my insight to further their goals, others will fail. By doing this I may keep a balance between the two forces. You, are a very important variable in the overall equation. Now, in that cafe what could have happen could very well of changed the overall equation. While this appears to lead to what you desire, looks are decieving. Timing is everything in this bid for power. I have brought you here to give you some of this insight I have spoken of."
|
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
"I see. May I ask you what insight you have attained? Is Gale truly that important?"
|
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
"All are important. Ayn, Rand, Gale, One, Fury, there are no exceptions. However, I shall tell you something. I may lie, I may not. If you believe me or not, and how you let my words affect you, will determine the future, your future. Before this winter ends, many will die. According to the actions of yourself and others, the ones known as Gale and Ayn may be two of them. More so then all others, their own actions will determine this. While you have bargained with the being Id, the obvious choice might not bring you to your goal. What you are might not be what you must be, and what you desire might not be what you need. All must learn this. I am telling you because of how important you are. However this is not mainly about you, despite it's affect. You may become one of many things. You may become one with God, as you desire. Maybe you shall become the next Lucifer, surpassing him and placing yourself on the thrown of God. Or maybe, you shall become something else, something entirely diffrent that not even I can forsee. We reep what we sow, Angel of Death. How you affect others affects you. This is all this represenative of OmnI has to say to you. Farwell." The man begins to fade away, much like he was a vision rather then a person.
|
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
"...How... rather interesting... And yet, I seem to have learned nothing new." Chaos gasps as he stumbles on his knees, clutching his head. "Id... Damn you, Id..." The Bringer of Death vanishes away into the fog, not to be seen as the fog clears.

He knew Wolf from way back, but instead of asking how everything was going, he was startled to find her roaming around in Gale's castle, seeing as he knows the relation with her and Gale. Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
((Edited my post.))
"I'm here to see Gale. And he knows I'm here. I was just going to him, seeing as he left the castle. On that note, I cannot let you roam his castle when he is not here. I don't know if you have permission or not, but I still wouldn't feel right just letting you walk." Points to exit. "Come on." |
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
Gale had been in his bed for a minute or so now. Apparently the Siren, Laena, had brought him here. However, he didn't see her around. The Abbis was rather annoyed with his current state, aa that he had to rely on Laena to return to his home. However, he wasn't about to argue. After being stabbed by Cloud, shot by Rand with synthetic holy, and then stabbed twice more by Chaos, Gale would do anything if it ment getting away from Ayn, who was bound to be pissed when she recovered. Seems the whole day had been a huge backfire. Least he was home now. "I'm back one. Any intruders?"
|
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
After leading Rikali outside, One is about to follow but hears Gale. He watches and makes sure Rikali leaves, then goes back to Gale. He is pretty shocked at the scene but addresses what Gale asked first. "I just got rid of one. Her name is Rikali, do you know her? She said she was going to do some research."
|
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
"Shoot her one site in the future." Gale tries to sit up but can't. "Damnit. You said you wanted to talk?"
|
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
Rikali stands around outside for a moment. "I've come to far to end up losing this chance now. I need to find out." She pulls the hood of her cloak up over her head and hestitantly re-enters the castle.
|
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
"It's been so long, Gale. I just wanted to see a familiar face again. I've been doing a lot of travelling, as you may know. I was in Washu last week, and Triale before that. Interesting places. But then again, you know me, I try to train in all different environments. I've been steadily improving, but nothing too special. Actually, another reason I came was to train with you. A little fighting, so I can see where I stand. But I must have come too late. Always getting in trouble, aren't you little brother?" He goes to sit down in a nearby chair. "You're not going anywhere, tell me what happened. Why the sudden raid today? While you're at it, tell me how you've been. Like I said, it's been too long."
|
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
"Hm. You know well enough that me and Ayn are enemies. I merely tried to end this fighting. It backfired and before the day was over I think ran in all of my enemies. Just my luck, no?"
|
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
"Yes. Just your luck." Stares at the floor for a few seconds. "I almost forgot to say something, Jekin and Lara send their greetings. I visited them not too long ago. Of course, they're always busy. Sigh. I met an interesting person today. . . a Siren by the name of. . . Laena, I believe? As I was speaking to her. . you popped up, I saw a twinkle in her eyes. I'm sure you could do better than Sirens, brother." A smile stretches across his face.
